Wow... well... for anyone else in Halifax, I'm sure you can't read this. Yes, power is out in the city.. no one has power. I happen to have backup power so I'm lucky. Trees are down, even around campus is a mess from what I can see, which isn't much. I went out with a bunch of people and it was totally crazy. I have never been in something like this before. Lower Halifax was evacuated and a high-rise building that the university owns was evacuated too because windows were blowing in... what a mess. I guess class is cancelled but it is going to be a few days before all of this is cleared up.. what a mess... I wish the best to everyone who has gone through this already...

Alright, so it is now the second week of real school and so far, we have had 4 fires on campus where the fire department had to come. One fire was sorta legit and some benzine blew up in this student's face (he's okay) but the other three times it has been idiots who have burned popcorn in the microwave. I mean... it isn't that hard. You press "Popcorn" and then "Start" and then wait. These nincompoops seem to not be able to do this. It sure is a good lession though, the same fools get to pay $500/ time so maybe that'll teach them how to use a microwave.

Well...

I am finally in Halifax after leaving Toronto (and TIG HQ) to go to Dalhousie University. It has been so busy with a new room working on getting things into it and finding space for everything. Frosh week has been so much fun and I've met so many cool people already. Today was the first day of classes and I missed my only class of the day (great, just great...) How you ask..? I thought it was a different day and so I ended up in a 3rd year class and sat there until I noticed that I had never heard of the course that the professor was talking about :P

Anyway, I now have the day to catch up on all the things I needed to do anyway (and write and long email to my teacher) Of course, this is when I can actually get away from bug testing v4, fixing bugs and responding to TIG emails (stop emailing us already! :))

I guess I need to get going on all of this... I'll check in again soon.
